Remove the existing handle to reveal three holes in the window sash. The outer holes are for the screw fixings (43mm screw centres) and the inner hole is for the spindle.
- Swing open the new handle to reveal both screw ports on the Base
- Guide the handle spindle into the spindle hole and align the screw ports
- Secure handle to sash using screws provided
- Test that handle operates correctly
- Push the Screw Cover Cap into exposed screw port
- That is it! If you wish to keep the handle permanently locked, just key lock and fit the Blanking Plug into the barrel keyway. If you wish to prevent locking of the handle for egress, then fit the Blanking Plug without key locking the handle.
Note: Left or right-handed handles are not interchangeable. Refer to our cranked window handles for an understanding of handedness.
