Description

EZ Glaze Beehive High Impact Polycarbonate Sheet

(Available in choice of length)

Combines strength and privacy, without sacrificing light!

Strong, textured polycarbonate sheet, offering exceptional weather and hail resistance, with soft diffused light and privacy screening. Combines 87% light transmission with high UV-resistance, and installs easily over rafters or purlins. Lightweight yet over 200 times stronger than glass, EZ Glaze Beehive is the perfect roofing panel for your outdoor structures.

It is the prismatic surface of the 2.8mm thick honeycomb panel that gives its strength, whilst also providing privacy and reducing uncomfortable glare. EZ Glaze Beehive is designed for ease of fitting and doesn’t require glazing bars. Simply fix to rafters of up to 60mm width, with 600mm centres, and you’ve got yourself a high-performance pergola, gazebo, patio enclosure, sunroom, or carport.

Features & Benefits

  • Highly translucent – allows 87% of light to pace
  • Soft obscured glazing – acts like privacy glass
  • Easy to install – fits directly to rafters or purlins
  • Excellent weather resistance – unaffected by sun and hail
  • Superior strength - 200 times stronger than glass
  • Lightweight roofing - half the weight of laminated glass
  • UV protection - blocks 99.9% of harmful UV radiation
  • Long lasting and trusted - 10-year guarantee

The unique profiled sides of the EZ Glaze Beehive sheets, allow quick positioning, and easy fitting over rafters. Sheets are side lapped using the corrugated edge profile, to provide superior weathering, along with the exceptional resistance to hail, high wind, and snow.

EZ Glaze doesn't only perform well year after year, but it will continue to look great too, with minimal maintenance.

Did you know? Applying foam tape down each rafter before fitting the sheets, will help to reduce the friction and noise caused by thermal expansion, and an aluminium wall flashing can be used to protect the joint at a host wall.
