Stylish and strong, lockable inline window handle for aluminium and uPVC espagnolette windows. Manufactured by industry leader Yale, and supplied with a 10-year mechanical and surface guarantee.

Straight inline handles look sleek and discreet on any window, whilst being comfortable and versatile on left or right-hand windows. They are made from tough die-cast zinc, with a durable powder-coated, passivated, or plated finish to offer high corrosion resistance, impact strength and protection against abrasion.

Please check before ordering:

Screw Hole Centres: This handle has 43mm fixed screw centres. Make sure this matches your existing handle.
Spindle Length: Spindles are fixed length, sold in different sizes, measured from the back of the backplate to the tip. Longer spindles can be trimmed if needed.
Inline Handle: Straight and non-handed, fitting left or right windows. Confirm this matches your old handle.

Espag handles feature a 7mm metal spindle that is fixed to the lever and runs through the handle backplate to fit into a lock mechanism within the sash. Turning the lever rotates the spindle and triggers the mechanism, which in turn locks or unlocks the window.

DID YOU KNOW? The Yale Quartus Espag handles are also available as left and right offset cranked versions, which provide increased hand clearance.

Fitting & Usage

Fitting Yale Quartus Window Handles

Remove the existing handle to reveal three holes in the window sash. The outer holes are for the screw fixings (43mm screw centres) and the inner hole is for the spindle.

Swing open the new handle to reveal both screw ports on the Base
Guide the handle spindle into the spindle hole and align the screw ports
Secure handle to sash using screws provided

That is it! If you wish to keep the handle permanently locked, just key lock and then fit the black blanking plug into the barrel keyway. If you wish to highlight the handle as egress and stop it from being locked, fit the green blanking plug.

Works in both left and right handed positions.

Replacing a cranked handle with an inline?

Cranked handles are built with usability in mind, shifting the grip away from the window frame for improved clearance. Before replacing a cranked handle with an inline one, ensure there will be enough space between the windows frame and the grip.

Delivery

SHIPPING

We endeavour to despatch most orders within 1 working day. Where possible, orders received before 1:00pm may be despatched the same day. Accurate despatch times are available on individual product pages.

Most orders (those being stock items below 1.2m in length) will be despatched same day when ordered before 1pm, and received the following delivery day. We deliver items of that size from Monday to Saturday. Stock items over 1.2m are sent using a two-day carrier, who do not deliver on a weekend.

Due to the size and nature of some bespoke, and non-stock products, we offer restricted delivery options. Delivery options can be selected at the checkout page before payment Is made.

DELIVERY AND RETURNS

Any dates quoted for delivery of the goods are approximate only and Truly PVC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss suffered by the customer arising from any delay in the delivery of the goods.

All deliveries must be received, and where appropriate, signed for, by a person over the age of 18 years old.

Delivery takes place, and risk passes to you, at the earliest of the following:

When the goods are handed over to you or your agent at Truly PVC’s premises.
When the goods leave the premises of Truly PVC.
On the 7th day after you have been notified that the goods are ready for despatch.

Customers should notify us within 7 days of the invoice date for any alleged defect, damage, failure to comply with description, missing items, or discrepancies. If no notification is made within this period, the goods are deemed accepted and free from defect.

Customers are responsible for obtaining any necessary licences or permissions for importing goods into their country of destination.

Long Lengths (over 1.2m)

For any product over 1.2m in length we cannot guarantee a ‘Next Day’ delivery service. Products over 1.2m have to be manually handled in some Depots and this can often add 1 – 2 days to the delivery time.

DELIVERY PROHIBITIONS

Orders for aerosol items, items over 1m, or deliveries to remote locations (e.g., Scottish Highlands, offshore islands, Northern Ireland) may not be fulfilable or may incur a surcharge.

Should this be the case, we will contact you with the option of either paying the surcharge or cancelling the order. Remote postcodes include AB30-AB38, AB40-AB56, BT, FK17-FK21, G83, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA27-KA28, KW, PA20-PA99, PH, TR21-TR25, ZE.

COLLECTION (from our Warehouse)

To collect your order, choose 'Collect in Person' as the shipping method. We will contact you if there is an issue preparing your order, so please provide a contact telephone number.

Stock items are usually available for collection 1 business day after ordering. For early collection or non-stock items (e.g., polycarbonate), please call 0161 339 4982.
