✓ Frame Width – Security fixings designed for 70mm wide frames only.
✓ Lever centre to keyhole centre – Fits standard multipoint locks with 92mm PZ.
✓ Fixing Centres – 122mm (Short) or 210mm (Long).

Cylinder Type

✗ Incompatible – The handle includes a cylinder guard that reduces the opening around the keyway. Some key types with a shoulder-stop may not be compatible with this handle.
✓ Compatible – Our CERBERUS, Yale Platinum, and Yale Standard cylinders are compatible.

Cylinder Size

✓ External Barrel – Ensure that the external cylinder barrel protrudes 10-15mm from the external face of the door, to fit behind the cylinder guard.
✓ Internal Barrel – Ensure that the internal barrel protrudes at least 12mm from the internal face of the door.
Example – For 70mm frames with a central Eurogroove, a 50/45 or 50/50 (internal/external) cylinder should be fitted.

Fitting & Usage

How to fit the Yale Sparta Lever/Lever Handles

The Yale Sparta Lever/Lever door handles can be fitted quickly and easily, as the following summary demonstrates.

Start by removing existing handles from the door. Simply remove any screws (normally visible on the internal backplate) and pulling apart.
Choose which of the supplied screw sizes should be used with the spindle. If fitting to narrower composite or wooden doors, you may need to cut down with a hacksaw.
Swing handles to the correct side of the backplate for fitting to your door. The handle with screw holes mush be fitted to the inside.
Fit the cylinder guard from the back of the external handle, by pushing it through the profiled cylinder hole.
Insert the supplied spindle into the external handle, and fit spring cassettes into the handle backplates, if not already fitted.
With spindle fitted to external handle, feed spindle through the door and the lock mechanism inside. Push internal backplate into position with the spindle fed through the internal cassette.
Place 2 screws provided through fixing holes and tighten.
Check operation of handles before closing the door.

How to care for your handles

To keep your handle looking great, wipe with very mild detergent or soap, then rinse with warm clean water, and drying with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive, chemical or brass cleaners, wire brushes, scrubbers and wire wool etc.
A light machine oil or a silicone spray lubricant can be used twice a year over moving parts, to keep things moving freely.
From time to time, check that the screw fixings are tight, as the handle should remain fixed to ensure correct operation.

Measuring Guide

How to check that these handles will fit your door

Measuring your existing handle correctly, will help you determine whether this handle will fit your door. There are three main sizes to take into consideration when measuring your door handle.

Measure the distance between the centre of the handle, and the centre of the cylinder barrel. This length is called the PZ measurement, and should equal 92mm for these handles to be suitable.
Measure the distance between the centre of your top screw, and the centre of your bottom screw. The Short version of this handle has 122mm screw centres, and the Long version has 210mm.
A less important measurement is the overall length of your existing backplate. The Short version of this handle is 212mm long, and the Long version is 243mm.

Delivery

SHIPPING

We endeavour to despatch most orders within 1 working day. Where possible, orders received before 1:00pm may be despatched the same day. Accurate despatch times are available on individual product pages.

Most orders (those being stock items below 1.2m in length) will be despatched same day when ordered before 1pm, and received the following delivery day. We deliver items of that size from Monday to Saturday. Stock items over 1.2m are sent using a two-day carrier, who do not deliver on a weekend.

Due to the size and nature of some bespoke, and non-stock products, we offer restricted delivery options. Delivery options can be selected at the checkout page before payment Is made.

DELIVERY AND RETURNS

Any dates quoted for delivery of the goods are approximate only and Truly PVC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss suffered by the customer arising from any delay in the delivery of the goods.

All deliveries must be received, and where appropriate, signed for, by a person over the age of 18 years old.

Delivery takes place, and risk passes to you, at the earliest of the following:

When the goods are handed over to you or your agent at Truly PVC’s premises.
When the goods leave the premises of Truly PVC.
On the 7th day after you have been notified that the goods are ready for despatch.

Customers should notify us within 7 days of the invoice date for any alleged defect, damage, failure to comply with description, missing items, or discrepancies. If no notification is made within this period, the goods are deemed accepted and free from defect.

Customers are responsible for obtaining any necessary licences or permissions for importing goods into their country of destination.

Long Lengths (over 1.2m)

For any product over 1.2m in length we cannot guarantee a ‘Next Day’ delivery service. Products over 1.2m have to be manually handled in some Depots and this can often add 1 – 2 days to the delivery time.

DELIVERY PROHIBITIONS

Orders for aerosol items, items over 1m, or deliveries to remote locations (e.g., Scottish Highlands, offshore islands, Northern Ireland) may not be fulfilable or may incur a surcharge.

Should this be the case, we will contact you with the option of either paying the surcharge or cancelling the order. Remote postcodes include AB30-AB38, AB40-AB56, BT, FK17-FK21, G83, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA27-KA28, KW, PA20-PA99, PH, TR21-TR25, ZE.

To collect your order, choose 'Collect in Person' as the shipping method. We will contact you if there is an issue preparing your order, so please provide a contact telephone number.

Stock items are usually available for collection 1 business day after ordering. For early collection or non-stock items (e.g., polycarbonate), please call 0161 339 4982.
