The Kinetica+ euro cylinder shows the British Kitemark with 3-star accreditation on the face of the cylinder - a strong visual deterrent that discourages would be attackers from trying to gain entry. Being rated 3*, the cylinder can be fitted to a PAS24 door, without the need for a 2* security handle, or cylinder guard.

What Makes Kinetica+ K4 So Secure?

Kinetica+ uses a variety of specially engineered, hardened steel anti-bump, drill, and pick pins, whilst its core is reinforced by a super-strong strengthening bar that ensures a robust and durable lock.

Lock snapping is a huge concern, so Kinetica+ combines several defensive mechanisms. A sacrificial cut ensures the cylinder snaps in front of the vulnerable cam area, and at the moment of failure, an anti-grip drive bar springs forward, and is stopped by dual attack rods that fire sideways. The rotating cam moves independantly, and stops when its outer defence ring hits the barrels. Dual attack rods limit the space attacker can work in, making it impossible to push the drive bar backwards to release the cam. The attacker will also fail to grab the drive bar, due to the bars tapered anti-grip ends. Leaving no way of manipulating or removing the cam. An innovative anti-tilt mechanism prevents the cam section from lowering when the cylinder is snapped, reducing further the space an attacker has to manipulate the mechanism. Following a snap attack, Kinetica+ leaves the lock protected on the outside, and operational on the inside.

IMPORTANT SIZE INFORMATION: Kinetica+ cylinder size is represented with the external measurement first, and internal measurement second. Size should be measured from face of cylinder to centre of screw hole. If your cylinder measures 35mm from outside face to centre of screw hole, and 45mm from centre of screw hole to inside face (80mm overall), then you should order a 35/45 (80mm) cylinder.

Fitting & Usage

Removing existing cylinder

Put your key in the lock and open the door.
Remove the screw beneath the latch on edge of door.
Turn key while applying pressure to opposite end of cylinder. As you do the revolving cam will line up with the lock and can be pulled out. The key usually needs to be turned approximately 25 degrees clockwise or anti-clockwise.

Fitting the Kinetica+ euro cylinder

Insert key into external side of cylinder and turn until revolving cam lines up with cylinder body.
Guide cylinder into position from outside, so that door and cylinder fixing holes line up.
Secure the cylinder with fixing screw provided, while being careful not to overtighten.

Register your cylinder

Registering new cylinders can be done quickly and easily by scanning the QR code on the Registration Key Fob. Doing so provides access to 'My Keys', a secure online area where key codes and key photos can be stored. Here you can retrieve all the information necessary to have new keys cut, even if all keys have been lost. You will also be able to request maintenance reminders, to help keep your lock operating at its best.

Measuring Guide

Assuming the existing euro cylinder doesn't protrude more than 5mm, which is a security risk, the easiest way to determine cylinder size required, is to measure the existing.

It involves collecting two measurements taken along the side of the cylinder. Firstly, from the external face to the centre of the cylinder screw hole, and from there to the internal face. Kinetica+ euro cylinders are packed with anti-break-in security on the external end only, so it is critical that the two measurements are given in the correct order. Therefore, provide the external measurement first. If the cylinder measures 35mm from external face to centre of screw hole (under cam space), and 45mm from centre of screw hole to internal face, then you should order a 35/45, which is 80mm overall.

We endeavour to despatch most orders within 1 working day. Where possible, orders received before 1:00pm may be despatched the same day. Accurate despatch times are available on individual product pages.

Most orders (those being stock items below 1.2m in length) will be despatched same day when ordered before 1pm, and received the following delivery day. We deliver items of that size from Monday to Saturday. Stock items over 1.2m are sent using a two-day carrier, who do not deliver on a weekend.

Due to the size and nature of some bespoke, and non-stock products, we offer restricted delivery options. Delivery options can be selected at the checkout page before payment Is made.

DELIVERY AND RETURNS

Any dates quoted for delivery of the goods are approximate only and Truly PVC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss suffered by the customer arising from any delay in the delivery of the goods.

All deliveries must be received, and where appropriate, signed for, by a person over the age of 18 years old.

Delivery takes place, and risk passes to you, at the earliest of the following:

When the goods are handed over to you or your agent at Truly PVC’s premises.
When the goods leave the premises of Truly PVC.
On the 7th day after you have been notified that the goods are ready for despatch.

Customers should notify us within 7 days of the invoice date for any alleged defect, damage, failure to comply with description, missing items, or discrepancies. If no notification is made within this period, the goods are deemed accepted and free from defect.

Customers are responsible for obtaining any necessary licences or permissions for importing goods into their country of destination.

Long Lengths (over 1.2m)

For any product over 1.2m in length we cannot guarantee a ‘Next Day’ delivery service. Products over 1.2m have to be manually handled in some Depots and this can often add 1 – 2 days to the delivery time.

DELIVERY PROHIBITIONS

Orders for aerosol items, items over 1m, or deliveries to remote locations (e.g., Scottish Highlands, offshore islands, Northern Ireland) may not be fulfilable or may incur a surcharge.
