The Yale Platinum 3 Star euro cylinder (successor to Yale AS Platinum) provides superior stength against known attack methods. Tested by BSI, it has been awarded the British Kitemarked TS2007:2014 3 star accreditation, which is identified on the face of the cylinder as an effective visual deterrent.

The TS007 security standard is characterised by a 3 star rating, which can be achieved by combining a 1 star cylinder with a 2 star door furniture or using a stand alone 3 star cylinder, like this Platinum cylinder.

It’s not just the technological advances within the cylinder that make the Yale Platinum a great choice, key security has also been improved. The high security dimple cut flat key is reversible meaning that it’s easier to use and extra keys can be ordered using a key code on the ID tag supplied.

EXTRA KEYS - 6 keys are provided with these keyed-alike pairs as standard. Additional keys, which are cut using genuine Yale blanks, can be supplied if required. Please note that extra keys are a nonrefundable bespoke service.

Fitting & Usage

Removing existing cylinder

Put your key in the lock and open the door.
Remove the screw from edge, beneath the latch.
Turn key while apply pressure to opposite end of cylinder. As you do the cam will line up with the lock and can be pulled out. The key usually needs to be turned approximately 25º clockwise or anti-clockwise.

Maintenance Advice

Yale recommend regular lubrication of your Yale cylinder locks to ensure continuous trouble free performance and operation.

For this we recommend using a PTFE based lubricant. A small amount of lubricant should be applied to the key and then inserted into the cylinder. Rotate the key a couple of times in line with the normal locking function. Remove the key from the cylinder and wipe away any remaining lubricant to ensure it isn’t transferred onto other objects.

What size do you need?

These cylinders have hardened security on the outside and can only be used one way, so be sure to measure correctly.

When ordering, you should provide the internal measurement first. If the cylinder measures 35mm from centre of screw hole (under cam space) to the end inside property and 45mm from centre of screw hole to end outside property, then you should order 35/45 (80mm).

SHIPPING

We endeavour to despatch most orders within 1 working day. Where possible, orders received before 1:00pm may be despatched the same day. Accurate despatch times are available on individual product pages.

Most orders (those being stock items below 1.2m in length) will be despatched same day when ordered before 1pm, and received the following delivery day. We deliver items of that size from Monday to Saturday. Stock items over 1.2m are sent using a two-day carrier, who do not deliver on a weekend.

Due to the size and nature of some bespoke, and non-stock products, we offer restricted delivery options. Delivery options can be selected at the checkout page before payment Is made.

DELIVERY AND RETURNS

Any dates quoted for delivery of the goods are approximate only and Truly PVC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss suffered by the customer arising from any delay in the delivery of the goods.

All deliveries must be received, and where appropriate, signed for, by a person over the age of 18 years old.

Delivery takes place, and risk passes to you, at the earliest of the following:

When the goods are handed over to you or your agent at Truly PVC’s premises.
When the goods leave the premises of Truly PVC.
On the 7th day after you have been notified that the goods are ready for despatch.

Customers should notify us within 7 days of the invoice date for any alleged defect, damage, failure to comply with description, missing items, or discrepancies. If no notification is made within this period, the goods are deemed accepted and free from defect.

Customers are responsible for obtaining any necessary licences or permissions for importing goods into their country of destination.

Long Lengths (over 1.2m)

For any product over 1.2m in length we cannot guarantee a ‘Next Day’ delivery service. Products over 1.2m have to be manually handled in some Depots and this can often add 1 – 2 days to the delivery time.

DELIVERY PROHIBITIONS

Orders for aerosol items, items over 1m, or deliveries to remote locations (e.g., Scottish Highlands, offshore islands, Northern Ireland) may not be fulfilable or may incur a surcharge.

Should this be the case, we will contact you with the option of either paying the surcharge or cancelling the order. Remote postcodes include AB30-AB38, AB40-AB56, BT, FK17-FK21, G83, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA27-KA28, KW, PA20-PA99, PH, TR21-TR25, ZE.

To collect your order, choose 'Collect in Person' as the shipping method. We will contact you if there is an issue preparing your order, so please provide a contact telephone number.

Amazing, 2 locks that can be used with the same keys and with the name of Yale on them. They came at a good price, as I had compared them to B&Q s equivalent hafe the price. Good solid locks that were easy to install. They also had some none branded locks, which I may try the next time as I have one more door to change the locks on.

Outstanding service.
