Attack Defence

Attack Method	Defence
Snapping	Deliberate weak point sacrifices outer part of the cylinder and leaves the cam intact. SnapStop technology is triggered when sacrificial section is broken, causing lateral defence to springs into action, and drive a rod forward to protect the core.
Bumping	Special anti-bump pins, combined with a dimple and groove key, create overlift during a bump attack, preventing rotation of the barrel.
Drilling	Hardened drill protection rods and pins.
Picking	Incorporates specially engineered pins that resist picking attempts, and the 11-pin mechanism makes the task significantly more complex.
Twisting	TwistTrap – Detection of twist stress activates a rotor which is fired into a mechanism that separates the outside of the cylinder from the cam and keeps the lock in a secured state.
Thermal Manipulation	Exhaust ports in the side of the cylinder dissipate heat during blow torch attacks, and provide an outlet for water and freezing agents during a freezing attack.

Fitting & Usage

Removing Existing Cylinder

Put your key into the lock, and open the door to view the door edge.
Remove the cylinders fixing screw, which should be visible under the latch.
Turn the key while apply pressure to the opposite end of cylinder. As you do, the cam will align with the lock, allowing the cylinder to be pulled out. The key usually needs to be turned approximately 25° clockwise or anti-clockwise.

Measuring the existing cylinder

On the side of the cylinder, under the cam, you will see a Fixing Hole. The size you require is determined by the distance from each edge of the cylinder to the centre of the fixing hole.

Measure from the end of the cylinder to the centre of the Fixing Hole, to give the first measurement (a)
Measure from the centre of the Fixing Hole to the other end of the cylinder, to give the second measurement (b)

Euro cylinder measurement

If measurement a = 35mm and measurement b = 45mm then the size required is 35/45 (80mm overall). The CERBERUS 3* double cylinder (key operated at both ends) features security on both ends, so can be used either way round. The same cylinder would be used if you had measured 45/35.

Fitting the CERBERUS 3* Euro Cylinder

Insert key into cylinder and turn until revolving cam lines up with cylinder body.
Guide the cylinder into the door, ensuring that door and cylinder fixing holes align.
Secure the cylinder with fixing screw provided, while being careful not to over tighten.

SHIPPING

We endeavour to despatch most orders within 1 working day. Where possible, orders received before 1:00pm may be despatched the same day. Accurate despatch times are available on individual product pages.

Most orders (those being stock items below 1.2m in length) will be despatched same day when ordered before 1pm, and received the following delivery day. We deliver items of that size from Monday to Saturday. Stock items over 1.2m are sent using a two-day carrier, who do not deliver on a weekend.

Due to the size and nature of some bespoke, and non-stock products, we offer restricted delivery options. Delivery options can be selected at the checkout page before payment Is made.

DELIVERY AND RETURNS

Any dates quoted for delivery of the goods are approximate only and Truly PVC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss suffered by the customer arising from any delay in the delivery of the goods.

All deliveries must be received, and where appropriate, signed for, by a person over the age of 18 years old.

Delivery takes place, and risk passes to you, at the earliest of the following:

When the goods are handed over to you or your agent at Truly PVC’s premises.
When the goods leave the premises of Truly PVC.
On the 7th day after you have been notified that the goods are ready for despatch.

Customers should notify us within 7 days of the invoice date for any alleged defect, damage, failure to comply with description, missing items, or discrepancies. If no notification is made within this period, the goods are deemed accepted and free from defect.

Customers are responsible for obtaining any necessary licences or permissions for importing goods into their country of destination.

Long Lengths (over 1.2m)

For any product over 1.2m in length we cannot guarantee a ‘Next Day’ delivery service. Products over 1.2m have to be manually handled in some Depots and this can often add 1 – 2 days to the delivery time.

DELIVERY PROHIBITIONS

Orders for aerosol items, items over 1m, or deliveries to remote locations (e.g., Scottish Highlands, offshore islands, Northern Ireland) may not be fulfilable or may incur a surcharge.

Should this be the case, we will contact you with the option of either paying the surcharge or cancelling the order. Remote postcodes include AB30-AB38, AB40-AB56, BT, FK17-FK21, G83, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA27-KA28, KW, PA20-PA99, PH, TR21-TR25, ZE.

To collect your order, choose 'Collect in Person' as the shipping method. We will contact you if there is an issue preparing your order, so please provide a contact telephone number.

Stock items are usually available for collection 1 business day after ordering. For early collection or non-stock items (e.g., polycarbonate), please call 0161 339 4982.

The lock appears to be well made, it comes with three keys each of which operate the barrel smoothly.
Being a standard Euro lock fit, it is a straightforward swap for the existing lock.

Very impressed with the apparent quality of these locks. How secure they actually are against malicious tampering I cannot say and hope they are never tested. They do appear to be robust, have a substantial key and are well made.
