Highly durable, conservatory and door infill panel, with evenly spaced vertical grooves that replicate the appearance of traditional timber shiplap. Features strong MDF reinforcement, sandwiched between Polystyrene and heat reflective UV-stable PVC-u sheets, to offer excellent strength, weather resistance and insulation.

Commonly used for replacing damaged panels, or to blank off unwanted glazed panels. Shiplap's clean linear appearance makes it one of the most versatile decorative panels. Perfect for both traditional and modern homes, and an ideal choice for conservatory panels, front, rear and stable doors. Manufactured in accordance with BS 476 Part 7 - Spread of Flame Class 1 and BS 4735, with self-extinguishing fire retardant materials and fulfils Part L Building Regulations.

If you want a durable panel that's also decorative and creates a traditional appearance, with classic shiplap styling, then this is a great choice. The shiplap reinforced PVC-u infill panels 4mm MDF core is CFC and HCFC free during manufacture, and following installation, which helps to protect the ozone layer, improves air safety, and reduces global warming.

The Shiplap grooves are applied to both sides, and run down the long side of the panel, which can be used any way round to present horizontal or vertical shiplap appearance.

Important: The manufacturing process of infill panels can sometimes cause edges to appear unsightly. As the panels are designed to be housed within a beaded frame, edges are not visible once installed and do not affect the product's performance. Infill panels are intended to be cut down, typically removing any perceived edge imperfections.

Fitting & Usage

Fitting the Shiplap Reinforced PVC-u Infill Panel

Fitting the panels is fairly straight forward but we offer 6 useful pointers to bear in mind.

Leave protective film in place to prevent scratches during handling. Be sure to peal off before fitting, or peel back from the edges, so that it does not get trapped by the beads.
A decorators paint scraper or similar tool can be used to remove any beads. When removing, it is easier to start with the longer ones. When replacing beads, the longer ones should be done last. As you remove beads, mark the back of them to identify where they came from (ie. top, right, bottom, left) as they should be put back in the same position.
When measuring and cutting to size, remember the phrase 'measure twice - cut once'. Be sure the measurement is correct as a cut can't be undone.
Fine toothed handsaw or jigsaw blade is most suitable for cutting the panels.
Soft headed hammers can be used to encourage reluctant beads to go back in when fitting is tight. Remember that cold temperature can make PVC-u brittle.
Grooved panels often look their best when they are centred within their frame. So when reducing the Shiplap panels width, consider making cuts from both sides, rather than just one. This can centralise the panel and help it look more balanced.

We endeavour to despatch most orders within 1 working day. Where possible, orders received before 1:00pm may be despatched the same day. Accurate despatch times are available on individual product pages.

Most orders (those being stock items below 1.2m in length) will be despatched same day when ordered before 1pm, and received the following delivery day. We deliver items of that size from Monday to Saturday. Stock items over 1.2m are sent using a two-day carrier, who do not deliver on a weekend.

Due to the size and nature of some bespoke, and non-stock products, we offer restricted delivery options. Delivery options can be selected at the checkout page before payment Is made.

DELIVERY AND RETURNS

Any dates quoted for delivery of the goods are approximate only and Truly PVC shall not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss suffered by the customer arising from any delay in the delivery of the goods.

All deliveries must be received, and where appropriate, signed for, by a person over the age of 18 years old.

Delivery takes place, and risk passes to you, at the earliest of the following:

When the goods are handed over to you or your agent at Truly PVC’s premises.
When the goods leave the premises of Truly PVC.
On the 7th day after you have been notified that the goods are ready for despatch.

Customers should notify us within 7 days of the invoice date for any alleged defect, damage, failure to comply with description, missing items, or discrepancies. If no notification is made within this period, the goods are deemed accepted and free from defect.

Customers are responsible for obtaining any necessary licences or permissions for importing goods into their country of destination.

Long Lengths (over 1.2m)

For any product over 1.2m in length we cannot guarantee a ‘Next Day’ delivery service. Products over 1.2m have to be manually handled in some Depots and this can often add 1 – 2 days to the delivery time.

DELIVERY PROHIBITIONS

Orders for aerosol items, items over 1m, or deliveries to remote locations (e.g., Scottish Highlands, offshore islands, Northern Ireland) may not be fulfilable or may incur a surcharge.

Should this be the case, we will contact you with the option of either paying the surcharge or cancelling the order. Remote postcodes include AB30-AB38, AB40-AB56, BT, FK17-FK21, G83, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA27-KA28, KW, PA20-PA99, PH, TR21-TR25, ZE.

To collect your order, choose 'Collect in Person' as the shipping method. We will contact you if there is an issue preparing your order, so please provide a contact telephone number.
