Provides a neat, protective finish to ridge tiles, whilst covering dry verge unit fixings at the roof apex. Manufactured from UV-stabilised polypropylene, the Ridge End Cap offers durability and resistance to weathering, that protects one of the most exposed points of the roof. Available for domed (half round), and angled ridge tile, and supplied with two fixing screws.
SmartVerge Linear Dry Verge Ridge End Caps fix directly to the ridge batten using the supplied fixings, allowing fast, all-weather installation, while preventing water ingress and blocking access for birds and large insects. Suitable for both new build and refurbishment projects, it can also be used alongside Manthorpe dry fix ridge systems to close off ridge ends fully.
The SmartVerge® Linear Dry Verge System, offers a modern, mortar-free finish, that eliminates the cracking and erosion associated with traditional wet-laid mortar verges. Instead, each unit is mechanical fixed, to prevent tile uplift, whilst providing long-lasting, maintenance-free protection, that allows your roof to breath.
SmartVerge is independently tested to BS 8612, and designed to meet the mechanical fixing requirements of BS 5534.
