Description

TIMCO Stainless Steel Pozidrive Pan Head Multipurpose Woodscrews

(4.0 x 50mm, Pan Head)

Clamps tightly whilst resisting corrosion

A2 stainless steel multi-purpose screws designed for secure, long-lasting fixing into softwoods, pre-drilled hardwoods, chipboard, MDF, plastics and thin sheet metal. Ideal for both internal and external applications where corrosion resistance is critical, including harsh environments and naturally acidic or corrosive timbers such as green oak and cedar.

The sharp 25° point with single slash cut reduces driving torque and the risk of timber splitting—especially close to edges—while the deep 40° single coarse thread delivers high pull-out resistance along the fully threaded shank. The pan head provides enhanced clamping force for a tight, gap-free hold, and the deep PZ2 recess ensures reliable bit grip with minimal cam-out. Manufactured from A2-304 austenitic stainless steel with a Grade 4 corrosion rating, these screws withstand urban, industrial and moderate salt atmospheres.

Features & Benefits

  • Improved Clamping – pan head pulls surface materials tightly together
  • Corrosion Rating 4/5 – urban/industrial areas with moderate salt atmosphere
  • A2-304 stainless steel – ideal for corrosive timbers such as green oak and cedar
  • Reduced Splitting – single slash point cleanly slices wood fibres with lower torque
  • Versatile – softwood, hardwood (pre-drilled), chipboard, MDF, plastic and thin sheet metal
  • High pull-out resistance – 40° deep single coarse thread and fully threaded shank
  • Reduced Cam-Out – deep PZ2 Pozi recess provides secure bit engagement

Did you know? The "A" in A2 stainless steel stands for austenite, a non-magnetic chromium-nickel alloy (grade 304). The "2" represents its specific grade—a precise blend of 18% chromium and 8% nickel (18/8 stainless steel) that provides corrosion resistance.
