Envirotile Synthetic Slate Double Tile

(Slate Grey, Black, Brown and Terracotta)

Secures ends and speeds up long runs!

Double tiles ensure adequate fixing points at the end of each course, and are especially useful on hipped roofs. Lightweight and virtually unbreakable with natural slate finish, double tiles fits quickly and securely as discreet filler tiles for long runs.

Envirotile tiles interlock with adjacent and under tiles to form a more secure integrated roof covering, and uses a reduced lap that can require just 6 double tiles per square metre; so reduces weight, material cost and work. Reduced weight means cheaper transportation, reduced CO² transport emissions and less structural roof requirement. Being easy to work with and approximately 50% the weight of other synthetic tiles, makes Envirotile the perfect choice for creating an authentic looking conservatory roof conversion.

Fitting Envirotile 8Fix Synthetic Plastic Roofing Tile

Double tiles can be used at the ends of each course to ensure adequate fixings, especially on hipped roofs, and are great as a filler tile for long runs.

Envirotile should be layed using the 3-step layout procedure. Extremely simple to fix, with slide locks for quick alignment and security. Can be cut equally well with hand saw or power saw, without releasing harmful dust during cutting. Half tiles, double tiles and unique eaves bar reduces material cost and work, with no need for an eaves course. The manufacturer has produced a detailed fitting guide to cover residential and commercial property, and we will be creating a dedicated Conservatory Roof Conversion Tiling Guide to support it.
