Strong and UV resistant, full length end caps for the deep-nosed Rehau 150mm sill profile. Sold as left and right pairs, in choice of colour to match existing window and door sills.

Sill end caps receive a lot of punishment from the elements, and from ourselves, so broken and missing end caps is a common sight. Once end caps break or fall off, dirt builds up in the open profile of the sill, and it starts to hold water. Sills are left unsightly and vulnerable, but replacing the ends caps is quick, inexpensive and an attractive, professional finish is easy to achieve.

How to fit the 150mm Sill End Caps

Before you begin, prepare area by removing any silicone and debris from sill profile.

1. Smooth and square edges with fine grade sand paper
2. Clean sill with solvent cleaner and clean dry cloth
3. If sills have joggles that wrap round the brickwork, or the sill is installed, and the end cap can't be fitted under the frame, it might be necessary to trim off the back of the end cap
4. Apply medium viscosity superglue to the end cap
5. Apply superglue accelerator to the sill
6. Put the 2 parts together, concentrating on getting the front flush with the front of the sill then hold in place for 5-10 seconds
7. Silicone back edge to seal where joint meets wall
