EZ Glaze Foam Tape for Roof Rafters
(20m long)
Reduce friction and silence the creaks!
Easy-fit, noise and friction-reducing foam tape, designed for the EZ Glaze polycarbonate roof system. Fitted on the timber rafters, this 20mm wide, one-sided tape minimises the effects of thermal expansion, enhancing performance and comfortability.
Changes in temperature can cause significant expansion and contraction of roofing materials, which can create friction and noisy creaking. Foam tape acts as a flexible gasket between the two, allowing free movement without noise.

- Easy to install – simply peel the backing and press down
- Self-adhesive backing – no need to staple or nail into rafter
- No creaking – eliminates the noise of material friction

- Measure the length of the rafter, and cut the foam tape to the appropriate length.
- The tape should be applied down the centre of each rafter.
- Starting at one end, peel the backing to expose the adhesive, and press firmly onto the rafter.
- Continue along the rafter, peeling the backing bit by bit as you go.
- The EZ Glaze polycarbonate sheet can then be positioned onto the rafter.
